University of Florida Standout, Breanne Berger, To Join BPE Staff

Breanne Berger is a former standout at the University of Florida. She holds the school single-game hits record (5-for-5)...among UF's top 10 career leaders in slugging percentage (.359), onbase percentage (.327), at bats (396), home runs (8), RBI (57), putouts (274) and caught stealing by (17) ... has fourth best career fielding percentage (.984). Breanne earned a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation from Florida in 2003.
Breanne is also a former assistant coach for Butler University where she assisted in all facets of the Butler softball program. "Breanne brings a great knowledge of the game with her to Butler," said Butler head coach Angie Nicholson. "She's young, but experienced and knows the game as it is played today. I trust her to teach and develop our players. She's enthusiastic about joining us at Butler and we're excited to have her."
Breanne will handle the softball lessons and classes at Ballplayer's Edge. She also brings administrative experience being the former Director of Softball Operations at the Round Tripper Sports Academy in Westfield, IN. The BPE staff is very excited to have Breanne join the team.
